What age is this appropriate for?

That Talk is a comprehensive lesson on human health and sexuality for children ages 9-13. Children will learn about their body’s changes, the reproductive systems, as well as conception.

Can I participate with my child?

Parents are welcome to sit in on all lessons. These sessions are geared towards children, but may offer language to better help you discuss any further questions with your child.

How is That Talk different from the lesson my child receives at school?

Many times children do not feel comfortable asking their questions in front of their peers. That Talk allows for a safe environment for children to openly ask whatever they would like, while also answering questions that parents may not feel comfortable answering.

Can That Talk be given to different genders at the same time?

That is up to you! Children will be learning about male and female reproductive systems, as well as puberty and conception. All of these concepts are appropriate for all genders. A follow up session for questions can be separated upon gender if desired.
